Envy can be a sign that everything is going well for you; otherwise there would be no need for anyone to be jealous of who you are or what you have. But when you’re not safeguarded from it, envy can and will have devastating effects.
WHAT IS ENVY?
They call it one of the seven deadly sins. It starts with the ‘evil eye’, and then the heart gets involved. The person desires what another has and starts to resent their achievements, abilities, status and traits.

YOU NEED PROTECTION
The harsh reality is that you cannot stop envy. You never know what one is thinking, and they’ll never say it to your face. But although you can’t stop it, you can protect yourself against it. And it’s only the protection of God that can shield you from such a harmful emotion.
