Fast of Daniel fourteenth day

BODY

Too much fat I your diet, especially saturated fats, can raise your cholesterol, which increases the risk of heart disease.

Task: Replace fatty foods for healthier options such as fruits, vegetables and salads today.

SOUL

"Offer to God thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most high." (Psalms 50:14)

Task: If you have any unfulfilled vows, make sure you present them to God. You can speak to your pastor to receive an advice on how to do it.

SPIRIT

Meditate on this passage diligently in the morning and especially before going to bed:

1 Corinthians 11: 17 - 30.

Unworthily - To participate in an unworthy manner of the Lord's Supper is to eat the Body and drink the Blood of Christ without fear, reverence, or gratitude. It means taking part without analyzing or without considering what the Lord Jesus was willing to do for humanity.

It means to sit at His table in a frivolous manner, without valuing His sacrifice or teachings. It means to hold in contempt the call to repentance and to eat while still in sin. The person that takes part of the Lord's Supper in that way is considered guilty of the death of the Saviour and for that reason, will stand before God in the same standing as Annas, Caiaphas, and Pilate, who condemned His Son (John 18:19).

Worthily - Those who take part of the Supper worthily are those who are aware of their indignity before God and recognize that only through the Lord Jesus they are able to have such a great privilege. They treat spiritual matters with zeal, discernment, and faithfulness, that is why the elements of the Lord's Table attribute to them the justice the Saviour reached on the cross.

Task: In preparation for the next Lord's Supper, follow the directions this passage; make a thorough examination of your thoughts, intentions, desires, aspirations, words and actions. Let go of what is not in line with God's principles.
