Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.” (Revelation 19:7-9)

Task: Just like in every wedding, there is the best man and the bridesmaid. Today, select who will be your guests of honor, take an invite to each of them.

"Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!"

SPIRIT

For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. (Ezekiel 36:24-27)

The new birth and the Holy Spirit. The renewal of Israel was not limited to their returning to their land. It involved significant changes within The Israelites. Their stony heart was the cause of their unfaithfulness and tendency to sin, so the need for repentance was urgent.

Israel would have to go through the process of regeneration, which would include a new heart that was sensitive to God. Those who received this heart would no longer be stubborn or disobedient, but humble to hear and obey the Voice of the Lord. Not only would they abandon sin, they would also hate it. And their fleshly desires would give way to new goals and dreams.

This transformation is what we call the new birth, which makes a person become the temple of the Living God on earth. The Most High also promised to pour out His Own Spirit upon those who were regenerated, so that they could remain firm in the faith. This promise was fulfilled on the Day of Pentecost, and it is available to all those who no longer want to have an old and corrupt heart. (Acts 2:1-4)

Task: Consecrate the ring you will wear on 23rd August 2020 for the Marriage of the Lamb. Do this in the morning and in the evening.
